Condition: This Half-sheet original movie poster has maintained solid, vibrant color and a very presentable appearance. There are several small tears (about 1") along the poster's border, mainly top left and bottom middle along the border. There are several smudges along the poster's border, extending into the poster about 2" to 3" or so, primarily on the bottom left corner, bottom middle, and top middle. There is some edge wear, most apparent on the bottom left corner. And along the right side there is a long vertical crease from a previous fold, but it is not pronounced (you must look for it). The writing on the reverse does not bleed through to the poster's front. There are no pin holes, no tape or tape residue, and the poster is on sturdy stock paper. Please review the photos carefully.

. It was used by
MGM
to promote this movie when it was released in 1950. It is not a reprint nor a reproduction. The movie stars Judy Garland, Gene Kelly, Eddie Bracken, Gloria DeHaven , Marjorie Main, Phil Silvers, Ray Collins, Nita Bieber, Carleton Carpenter, and Hans Conried. It was directed by Charles Walters.
This unrestored movie poster is Rolled and measures 22" x 28", known as a "Half Sheet".
This original movie poster is graded C6.5, Fine Plus (+).
Original movie posters are graded as follows from the top down: C10 (Mint), C9 (Near Mint), C8 (Very Fine), C7 (Fine/Very Fine), C6 (Fine or Very Good), C5 (Good to Very Good), C4 (Good), etc.    The main flaws on this poster are the small tears and the smudges.  Linen backing could help alleviate some of these flaws.   Still, the main image has maintained striking vibrant colors. As is, this original movie poster is very presentable and a classic. And the stars - Gene Kelly and Judy Garland help ensure that this poster has and will increase in investment value.
