Socks Designed for Bold Moves in the Terrain Park
In 2008, Smartwool commissioned me to design an artist series of socks for their Fall 2009 Park Artist line geared towards snowboarders and skiers who love the terrain park. This collection included two socks, "Convoluted" and "Connected". "Convoluted" represented the freestyle rider shooting in and out of the half pipe in the terrain park. The design for "Connected" was a fun wraparound abstract "S" and "W" that looped around each sock.
The team at Smartwool were so happy with the designs I created for the 2009 Park Artist Series that they asked me back to create the socks for the 2010 Park Artist Series - of course I was 1,000% on board! This second series consisted of two sock designs, "Crystalize" and "Melt". Giving a nod back to 2009's "Connected" sock, I created another design that incorporated an abstract "S" and "W" pattern, built from triangles, connected as a complete wraparound. "Melt" was a fun 80s inspired print emulating drips of melting water, flinging from the side of the sock.
Returns: Buyer responsible for all shipping charges including original outgoing shipping that was paid buy seller. Item must be retuned in same condition it was mailed in including all packaging and tags.
