Catalog # 7620, the text shown in “Art Deco Aluminum, Kensington” reads: “True to name, the match tips are arranged in rainbow-hued stripes. Concealed in a slot underneath is a replaceable strip of striking surface. Matchmaster is a decorative and useful novelty that has wide appeal. Doubly practical because refills are made available. Very popular as a bridge prize or favor.”  Obviously the original matches are long gone, as is the striker from the bottom. As shown in the photos, you can arrange your own match books, or boxed matches in the slot for a nice display
. Condition of the holder is excellent, very few scratches or marks on it. It does have the Kensington mark on the bottom. 6 ¼” long.
We would liked to have included the match boxes, but concerned it could be a fire hazard in the mail So you will have to add your own matches.
