Hand-made Copper Match Holder Safe Historical Camping Rendezvous Mountain Man

Up for your consideration is a match holder invented and hand-made by Lou Donohue who was an historical re-enactor and member of Mountain Men of America.  It is made to hang on your belt and holds approximately 25 matches.  Removing the lid pulls the matches up for easy retrieval.  The lid is rough so that you can strike the match on the top of the lid.  It is 2 3/4" long and 1.25" in diameter.  The string is to loop around your belt so it doesn't come loose.  Made from copper pipe fittings - this is a unique item!  It was purchased from Lou himself several years before he died.
