    Up for grabs here, is this Vintage Ideal or MPC red & white boat with firing spring loaded cannon. Maybe from a Pirate playset? It measures about 6" in length. It has the same type of fasteners as an MPC toy to keep the deck attached to the hull. Someone has notified me that it was an Ideal playset item.  From non smoking dry storage.
